Performances June 29-30
The timeless, “rags to riches” fairy tale is an audience favorite in Disney’s Cinderella KIDS, an adaptation of the treasured animated film that will charm its way into your heart and remind audiences that dreams really can come true.
Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the royal ball. With a little help from her mice friends – and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother – Cinderella’s dreams come true. She goes to the ball, meets the Prince and falls in love!
With many featured speaking roles, this is the perfect show for ensembles offering speaking, singing and dance opportunities for newcomers to seasoned performers alike.
Rehearsals June 12-29, 9-12pm. Absences are permitted, but excessive absenteeism may affect casting. Please list any conflicts on your online registration form (click REGISTER button to the right).
No audition required - all interested students ages 4-15 will be cast. Role assignments will be determined after our first day of rehearsal.
Tuition of $325 (3 weeks) includes script, cast t-shirt, and costumes.
The monthly summer shows aren't just typical 'summer camps'. Each show will be a full production with all the costumes, props, sets and fanfare of our usual (spectacular!) productions. Professional instruction and direction by artistic and executive director Kim Maslo for all of the shows.
No advanced auditions required. We'll go over material from each show on our first Monday and role assignments will be emailed that evening. Rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday from 9-12pm and will take place at Faith Lutheran Church. Performances will be the last Thursday of each session at 7:30pm on the stage at Faith. Cinderella will have a second performance on Friday, June 30 in the evening.
